This is a placeholder privacy policy for the Student Rewards trial. Final wording will be provided before the public launch. By using this site you agree to the following principles, which the final policy will formalise.
What we collect
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your university and campus
- Your date of birth (used only for age-restricted offers)
- Payment confirmation from Stripe — we never see card details
- A record of when your QR code was redeemed and by which vendor
How we use your data
We use your details to issue your single-use pass, send it by email, verify redemptions at vendors, and provide customer support. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers we need to run the platform (Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Supabase for storage, Vercel for hosting).
Vendors
When a vendor scans your QR code, they see your first and last name to confirm the pass belongs to you. They do not see your email, phone number, date of birth or any other details.
Data retention
We keep your records for the duration of the trial. After the trial ends we will delete personal data within 90 days, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing hello@fomorewards.com.au. We will action your request within 7 days.
Cookies
We use a single httpOnly cookie for admin authentication and one cookie set by Stripe during checkout. We do not use marketing or analytics cookies for this trial.
